Laser cutting and embroidery with heat seal backing are great alternative for direct embroidery. Embroidered edge is border that over-locks the edge of the patch to give it a nice raised edge.
Patches can be manufactured in any shape or size needed by laser cut edge. These is completely trimmed off and don’t have an over-locking border. The background material shows on the edges no matter if there is a stitched border or not. The shapes of these emblems can be regular or slightly irregular.
